CORONAVIRUS / COVID-19

We are now triaging all GP and Nurse Practitioner appointment requests by telephone. The clinician will speak to you and then decide how best to deal with your problem. If needed you will then be seen face to face.
  • Please use e-consult as much as you can most of the time you get a reply the same day.
  • Do NOT attend routine nurse appointments if you have Coronavirus symptoms.
  • We are still open to collect prescriptions and paperwork.
  • If you have to stay at home because of Cornavirus and you need a note for your employer you can get one online here : https://111.nhs.uk/isolation-note/

We are taking these measures to protect our patients and staff.

FLU CLINICS

These are being held as a drive through at the Northern Echo Arena (Mowden Park Rugby Club) and a walk through at St Cuthbert's Church Hall NOT AT THE SURGERY THIS YEAR. This is to keep everyone safe and reduce the risk of spreading coronavirus. If you are booked into an appointment at the surgery we will give you your flu jab opportunistically but you cannot book an appointment just for a flu jab. Due to putting on and taking off PPE and cleaning the room between patients appointments now take us longer than normal so are in shorter supply. If we have your mobile number you will be texted details of how to book an appointment. If not we will ring you to book an appointment for you. As of the 15th September under 65 flu jabs are not available yet so cannot be booked.

Up to date flu information can be found at http://darlingtonpcn.co.uk/flu_service_2020/
